TM-BRB_Coral Reef Coverage-1998-1:5000 This dataset shows reef locations and reef classification types along the west and south coasts of Barbados as a polygon shapefile. This data was provided by the Coastal Zone Management Unit of Barbados ca.1998
CLME: TV_WCR_WECAFC area_20171121_noscale This layer displays the area of competence of the Western Central Atlantic Fishery Commission (WECAFC). It includes FAO Statistical Area 31 and the northern part of Statistical Area 41. The WECAFC competence area covers the entire CLME+ region plus the Gulf of Mexico LME.
TV_JAM_JAMAICA-Rivers The Data was created under the Jamaican Coastal Project in 1997. The output of the project, A Coastal Atlas of Jamaica, was prepared by the Natural Resources Conservation Authority (NRCA) and Uppsala University, Sweden.
BM-BRB_Road Infrastructure - 2001 - 1:10000 The Barbados road network was digitized from the 1:10000 (12 sheets) topographic maps produced by the Directorate of Overseas Surveys, Ordnance Survey, United Kingdom 1986. Each topographic map was scanned and registered to the Barbados National Grid and then reprojected to WGS84 Zone 20 before digitizing. Digitization was preformed in ArcGIS 8.3 and enhanced with the ArcScan extension. IKONOS imagery from 2000-2001 was then used to update the islands road network as well as differentiate between main highways, secondary highways, paved, and unpaved roads.
TV_TTO_Trinidad_and_Tobago_ICZM_marine_zone_s1_area_of_immediate_influence_2014_25000 The marine zone S1, the area of immediate impact from the coast used for ICZM
TM_BELIZE_ Seagrass_100.000_2010 Produced in 2010 by CZMAI/Natural Capital Project with a preferential scale of 1:100,000. With a national coverage in polygon format.
CLME: TV_RGF membership SICA (D)_20171201_noscale The layer shows the Member States of the Sistema de Integracion Centroamericana (SICA). Specialized agencies of SICA include OSPESCA (Organizacion del Sector Pesquero y Acuicola) and CCAD (Comision Centroamericana de Ambiente y Desarrollo)
CLME: BV_Country boundaries_SIDS(D)_2017_noscale This layer displays the 28 Caribbean countries and territories that are officially listed as Small Island Developing States by the United Nations.
TM_Sea level change (NOAA Laboratory for Satellite Altimetry ) The following maps provide estimates of sea level rise based on measurements from satellite radar altimeters. The local trends were estiamted using data from TOPEX/Poseidon (T/P), Jason-1, and Jason-2, which have monitored the same ground track since 1992. An inverted barometer has been applied. The estimates of sea level rise do not include glacial isostatic adjustment effects on the geoid, which are modeled to be +0.2 to +0.5 mm/year when globally averaged.
Alonso, D., Ramirez, L. F., Segura- Quintero, C., Castillo-Torres, P., Diaz, J.M., Walschburger, T. y N. Arango. Serie de Documentos Generales No. 41. Santa Marta. 106p + Anexos.
TV_TTO_Trinidad_ICZM_terrestrial_zone_T1_area_of_immediate_impact_2014_25000 Using data from project sea level rise by 2050 and spatially distributed storm surges for Trinidad and Tobago from the IDB project Economics of Climate Change Adaptation the zone of immediate impact was identified and set at the 5m contour.
TV_TTO_Trinidad_ICZM_terrestrial_zone_T2_area_of_immediate_impact_2014_25000 Using landcover for Trinidad and Tobago the area above 90m (roughly 300 feet) was found to be relatively unaffected by significant human activity. The area between the zone of immediate impact (5m) and 90m was identified as the area of influence.
CLME: BV_WCR+_LMEs ALL (M)_20171121_noscale Large Marine Ecosystems (LMEs) are natural regions of ocean space encompassing coastal waters from river basins and estuaries to the seaward boundary of continental shelves and the outer margins of coastal currents. They are relatively large regions of 200,000 km2 or greater, the natural boundaries of which are based on four ecological criteria: bathymetry, hydrography, productivity, and trophically related populations.
